“As a tailoring teacher, I see every day how important it is for young people to learn practical skills. Here, we offer short, hands-on courses of four months, where we train young people to become tailors or designers. Thanks to the support of Gered Gereedschap, we have the resources to train these young people, with well-equipped workshops and sewing machines.”

“What gives me the most satisfaction is seeing how our students truly grow in their craft. Many of the young people we get here would not have access to education otherwise. We teach them everything they need to become independent: from the basics of sewing to setting up their own businesses. Our goal is that, after completing the course, they can build an independent life.”

“The majority of our students are women, but we also have boys who enroll. It’s amazing to see how they all learn with the same passion. What we are doing here is more than just teaching a trade. We are giving these young people the opportunity to create their future with their own hands.”
