TRAINING THE NEXT GENERATION CRAFTSMEN

Improving the quality of vocational education while at the same time increasing labor market opportunities for starting metalworkers and carpenters. That is the goal of our collaboration with partner Pioneer Vocational Institute in Iganga, Uganda.

Over the past 2 years – partly thanks to the support of IFS Ultimo – we have supplied tools and machines with our EQUIP program, trained teachers, given underprivileged young people the opportunity to follow a course with a scholarship, realized internships and much more. A good time to visit Yusuf Bachu and his team to see what we have achieved together.
